Texas Center for Health Outcomes

Cost-effective solutions require integrated databases for analyzing, trending and forecasting data such as demographics, mortality and morbidity, and health care utilization. Our Texas Center for Health Outcomes is providing our researchers and caregivers this all-important information repository to forget the exact existence of serious socio-economic and ethnic health disparities, as well as the emergence of new diseases.

Examples of the type of outcome research being conducted include:

NorTex is a practice-based research network (PBRN) which functions as a collaborative effort to conduct primary care research among North Texas primary care clinics, including family medicine, general internal medicine, pediatrics,geriatrics, and obstetrics/gynecology
