The Texas Center for Music and Medicine is constantly engaged in research projects that are specifically aimed at addressing the needs of student and professional musicians. Many of these projects require interdisciplinary collaboration between faculty and the development and application of novel and updated technologies. To date, research studies have been conducted on musician medical problems; psychological, physiological, and audiological problems; and musician vocational and economic issues. Many of these projects are ongoing.

The faculty of the Texas Center for Music & Medicine actively publish research results. They are asked to make presentation at numerous conferences and gathering.
