James Ford III, a native of Perry, GA, is a trumpet player and former member of the University of North Texas One O'Clock Lab Band. With a teaching fellowship at UNT, James earned two Masters' degrees in Trumpet Performance and Music Education. He is currently working on his Doctor of Music Arts degree.
