UNTHSC also offers student health insurance through United Healthcare, which is an option provided to all students. To view the plan, visit United Care and follow these steps:
1. Click on "Find My School's Plan" in the column on the right.
2. Enter "UNT" as the school name and Search.
3. Select "Univ. of North Texas" as the school in the search results.
4. The brochure detailng the plan can be found here (Plan 2 is the only plan offered for UNTHSC).
5. The mail-in enrollment form for UNTHSC can be found here. Or, enrollment can be completed online through the UNT portion of the United Care website.
Once you have enrolled, you can use the United Healthcare website to view your claim status and keep track of other pertinent information for your student health insurance. For questions about the student health insurance plan, please contact United Healthcare's customer service at 1-800-767-0700.
Registration:
You will need your EUID to register for classes during orientation if you are a GSBS or SPH student. Your EUID is the login required to access the UNTHSC student information system, and was emailed to you during the admissions process. If you have not activated your EUID, click here and follow the instructions. If you have activated your account and cannot remember your EUID or password, click here to retrieve this information.
GSBS Students: If you have not activated your account and cannot locate your EUID/PIN, please contact the GSBS Admissions Office at GSBS@hsc.unt.edu for this information. Your EUID must be activated prior to your arrival at orientation.
SPH Students: If you have not activated your account and cannot locate your EUID/PIN, please contact the SPH Admissions Office at SPH@hsc.unt.edu for this information. Your EUID must be activated prior to your arrival at orientation.
