About Me:

TCOM:  I matriculated in August 2003 and became a part of the TCOM class of 2007.  I had a great year getting to know my classmates and serving in the CMA and as a class Historian during the second semester.  I did well academically until our last course, MOD.  I failed the class by one point.  I attempted remediation over the summer but ended up repeating the year to become a member of the TCOM class of 2008!  I made it all the way to MOD again, but to my amazement, just as I was getting geared up to finally pass the class that had caused me so much trouble, God told me that He wanted me to leave Medical School!
I agonized and prayed over the decision for a number of weeks, but I knew what God was asking me to do.  I didn't understand it, but I knew - He was asking me to leave medical school.  So that's what I did.  With only 4 weeks left in the semester, I began the withdrawal process.
I'll always miss TCOM and the many friends I made there.  The memories that I have from medical school will be with me wherever God takes me, and I will forever feel privileged to have spent two years at the University of North Texas Health Science Center.
