B.A. in Biology with honors Austin College (Sherman, TX) About Me - Relationship Status/Pets: I have been with my girlfriend (now fiancee), the love of my life, Hayley for the last 3 years. She is a Ph.D. student at UT Austin studying fresh water ecology/conservation. Currently, she is studying an endangered species called the Barton Springs Salamander. I am a saltwater aquarium enthusiast, I have a 40 gallon reef tank with a indo-pacific/Hawaii theme housing a percula clown fish, three blue/green chromis and a scooter dragonnet---a yellow tang is on the way. Also, I have 5 spp of corals & 2 bubble tip anemones. I recently got a cat, he is about 4 months old and his name is Comet. He's part gray tabby, part russian blue, and part anti-christ. Clubs I'm in: All of them (almost)...but I'm president of Psych/Neuro. Hobbies: Listed in the order of time consumption: [Guitar, Songwriting, Singing, Performing], Botany (I go out looking for interesting species of plants, identifying/collecting them...I especially like to find plants in counties that they have never been reported in), Reading/Collecting books, Photography (mostly botanical close-up stuff now, and nature photography), Cooking (my favorite areas of the culinary arts are authentic mexican and vegetarian cuisine), wine, classic movies, astronomy (member of the Fort Worth Astronomical Society, star-hopping dobster---for anyone who knows anything about astronomy), fly-fishing, duck hunting, golf, oh and I guess medicine is still a hobby, especially the history of medicine.
