AngelTree

HSC touches children’s hearts with Angel Tree

Remember the fun and excitement of waking up Christmas morning, knowing Santa had come and left you goodies under the tree? This year, you can light up a child’s holiday by adopting an angel from the UNT Health Science Center Angel Tree.

The names of children of UNTHSC employees who meet certain criteria are located on a virtual Christmas tree. Each angel lists the child’s name, age, gender, favorite color, clothing sizes, clothing needs and special wishes.

Simply visit the UNTHSC Angel Tree web site and login using your Novell user name and password. Then click on the angels on the tree to see that child’s details. Once you find an angel – or two or more – you’d like to adopt, click “choose this angel.” You will receive an email confirmation with the details of your angel which you can print and take with you on your shopping trip. You can also sign back in to the Angel Tree site and view your angel at any time.

Please take your unwrapped angel gifts and a roll of Christmas wrapping paper to EAD 248 (TCOM Admissions) by Dec. 14. Angel gifts will be distributed to the child’s parent or guardian in plenty of time for Santa to get it under the tree Christmas morning!

For more information about the Angel Tree, contact Meagan Cross, ext. 2627, or Randy Thomas, ext. 2155.
