JPS under the microscope
In a six-part expose, the Star-Telegram questioned JPS Health Network’s increased profitability and questionable level of care. Former HSC President Ron Blanck and several of our physicians were quoted. On Wednesday, JPS President David Cecero announced that he would be leaving JPS next summer.

Who are you?
In recent news reports, the Salem-News (Oregon) noted that DNA test kits are supplied to Oregon law enforcement agencies by the UNT Health Science Center in an article regarding a new Oregon law allowing DNA use in missing persons cases. Our DNA lab also was noted in the testing of a Pennsylvania teen who disappeared on the way to class 25 years ago, as well as missing persons cases featured in The Detroit (Michigan) Free Press, the Livingston Daily Press and Argus, and on WLKY in Louisville, Ky. America’s Most Wanted again ran its segment highlighting our DNA work, as well.

Have you or someone you know who is part of the HSC Family been mentioned in a news item recently?
