UNTHSC welcomes you to the neighborhood on Day in the District

UNTHSC Cultural District

Planning to attend Day in the District? Stop by a UNT Health Science Center tent and pick up a free bottle of water.

Volunteers help thousands stay hydrated each year during the festival called Day in the District, when museums offer free admission and performing artists give gratis exhibitions.

This year, the big day is Saturday, Sept. 28. Find UNTHSC water tents at:

  • Gendy Street, in front of the Museum of Science and History and the Cowgirl Museum.
  • Intersection of Van Cliburn Way and Darnell Street, across from the Kimbell Art Museum.
  • Intersection of Gendy Street and Lancaster Avenue, in front of the Community Arts Center.
  • University Drive bus stop, in front of Farrington Field.
