VIRGILIO NAMED ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
Richard Virgilio, DO, MS, has been named assistant professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the UNT Health Science Center.
Prior to becoming an assistant professor, Dr. Virgilio completed a postdoctoral clinical research fellowship and received a master of science degree from the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at the health science center.
A native of Voorhees, N.J., Dr. Virgilio earned a bachelor of arts degree in biology from LaSalle University and a doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from Des Moines University. He completed a family medicine internship and residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-School of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Virgilio currently resides in Fort Worth.
